Arena Regensburg

Jahnstadion Regensburg opened in July 2015 as a complete replacement for the old ground, which had hosted matches at the 1972 Summer Olympics but was eventually demolished in 2017. The new venue sits on a site south of the A3 autobahn, built by the city of Regensburg after naming rights were sold to Continental for the initial launch. It became known as Continental Arena until the sponsor withdrew in early 2019, after which it reverted to Arena Regensburg before a public vote in March 2020 settled on Jahnstadion Regensburg to avoid further commercial sponsorship.

The capacity stands at 15,210 seats, a figure slightly reduced from the original count during the 2017/18 season. The attendance record of 15,224 was set during a friendly match against Bayern Munich on September 3, 2015, the first time the stadium was completely sold out. Jahn Regensburg won that fixture 3–1.

The ground has also hosted concerts, including performances by ZZ Top and Pizzera & Jaus, alongside charity events such as the Paulaner Cup in November 2015. It is distinct from the nearby Stadtwerk Donau-Arena, an indoor ice hockey venue located at Walhalla-Allee 24. The official address remains Franz-Josef-Strauß-Allee 22, 93053 Regensburg.
