Arna Stadion is a local facility shaped by the terrain it occupies and the needs of its community. The pitch itself is a flat rectangle of synthetic grass. Beyond the touchline, the ground blends into the landscape.

The venue is a working ground that has served the district since it was built on a marshy area originally designated for recreation. While the exact year of its opening is sometimes debated between 1949 and 1952, it has long been the home for local athletics and football. The current setup is modest, with a capacity of 1,200 spectators, though the stands themselves are not prominent in the view, blending into the landscape rather than dominating it. The surface, now artificial turf, replaced the natural grass and gravel track that once defined the site, a change made to ensure the pitch could withstand the demands of local football without succumbing to the wet conditions typical of the region.

One moment that stands out for Arna Stadion is not a trophy win, but a quiet disruption of the usual order. In May 2019, the ground hosted a Norwegian Football Cup match between Arna-Bjørnar and SK Brann. The event drew a crowd of 811, a number that seemed to surprise the local observers more than it did the visitors. The visitors won 6–1, and the game ended with little fanfare, leaving the stadium to return to its routine. The location, accessible via Brurastien in Sætre, remains a place where the boundary between spectator and participant is thin, a feature of grounds that serve a town rather than a nation. The surrounding hills ensure that the wind has free rein across the pitch, a factor that any player on the surface must account for, regardless of the result.
