Bao'an Stadium
Schlaich Bergermann Partner supplied the roof structure that sits on top of them.
It was built for football at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, and that opening purpose has shaped everything since: a multi-purpose bowl with no club of its own, taking tenants as they come and letting them go again. Shenzhen F.C. played here in 2023, back after dropping out of the top division, including the meeting with Wuhan Three Towns. In 2024 the ground was home to Shenzhen Peng City F.C. , who had moved down from Chengdu and hosted Nantong Zhiyun here; from 2025 they took their home matches to the Shenzhen Sports Center Stadium instead. Between 2016 and 2018 it was Shenzhen Ledman. From 2025 the tenant is expected to be Shenzhen Juniors F.C.
No sponsor has ever bought the name. Between football seasons the bowl works as a concert venue — the Bay Area Light Stars Concert filled it in 2024 — and it sits on Yu'an 1st Road.
