Holywell Town's history runs longer than its current stadium's paper trail. The club was founded in 1880 and played first at a since-vanished pitch called Ffordd Fer before settling at Halkyn Road, and no record fixes the year that ground was laid out. What is certain is the name churn since: Halkyn Road, Achieve More Training Stadium, and now Bartons North Wales Stadium, three identities for one plot on the road to Flintshire's hills above the town.

Capacity is the other loose thread. A 2010 listing put the ground at 4,000; every source since, Wikipedia and Transfermarkt included, gives 2,000. No one has recorded a rebuild or a safety reassessment to explain the drop, so the figure stands as one of those quiet revisions that Welsh non-league grounds absorb without comment. Of that 2,000, 200 seats are under cover.

The playing surface is natural grass, unremarkable for the level, and the ground sits on Halkyn Road, CH8 7TZ. For a club that has spent generations several rungs below the senior game, the stadium's real distinction is administrative rather than architectural: it has outlasted its own name twice over.
