The 1991 rebuild wasn't a renovation of the old ground — it was a move to a new site entirely.
The design came from Moshe Lupenfeld and Giora Gammerman.
A 2012 refurbishment touched the facility without changing the pitch: the natural grass surface stayed natural. The stadium remains city property, run by Bat Yam's municipal services rather than through a private operator, which explains the absence of a dedicated stadium website or any sponsor name attached to the ground — it has carried the same municipal title throughout.
