There is no old ground here. FC Bacău, refounded in 2014 as heir to the disbanded FCM Bacău, did not return to the city's old ground on Strada Pictor Theodor Aman — that one, a natural-grass stadium for 17,500, had already been shut.

Seven hundred seats is the figure tied to the ground itself, though club listings elsewhere have quoted numbers as high as 2,000. What is not in dispute is the surface: artificial from the start.

The base has had work done to it since, in the years either side of 2020, though nothing on record says what was added or what it cost.
