Bjerringbro Idræts- og Kulturcenter
Bjerringbro, Denmark
Formerly: Bjerringbro Idrætspark
Bjerringbro Idræts- og Kulturcenter has been a fixture in the Central Denmark Region since 1988, operating at Vestre Ringvej 7. The venue holds the capacity for 1,200 spectators for handball events, a figure confirmed by the club's own records.
For years, the site was known simply as Bjerringbro Idrætspark, a name that persisted until a formal change in 2017 brought it under the current title. While the adjacent outdoor ground retains natural grass for football, the indoor halls feature synthetic flooring, a practical distinction for the multi-purpose nature of the centre.
The facility is owned by Viborg Kommune, including a recent update to the warm water pool completed in early 2023. The outdoor section offers five grass pitches and an artificial turf surface, ensuring play continues regardless of weather conditions.
