Bolu Atatürk Stadium

The Bolu Atatürk Stadium sits in the Karaçayır neighbourhood.

It opened in 1958, though the structure you see today is the result of repairs. Earthquake damage forced a rebuild of the covered stand between 1999 and 2006, and a later modernization added the space frame roof and plastic seating that define its look now. The marathon stand remains closed, as do the original concrete tiers on either side. A row of prefabricated stands sits behind the goal, holding a fraction of the crowd that once filled the valley.

The surface is natural grass. Local officials say the building will be replaced, but for now the team works within the limits of the portable seating and the towers set up around the perimeter.

There is no formal attendance record for a match at this specific ground; the figures that appear in some records refer to a different venue entirely. It is a place where you watch the game, and the game stays close to the ground.
