BSSS Mostafa Kamal Stadium

The ground sits in Kamalapur, on Atish Deepankar Road, and for most of the people who go there it is simply Kamalapur Stadium — the name it carried before it was given over to Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal. The foundation stone was laid by Sheikh Hasina, construction ran from the 1999–2000 fiscal year, and the gates opened in August 2003 with room for 20,000. Renovation work in 2021 lifted the listed capacity to 25,000.

The biggest of them arrived in 2010, when 18,000 came in for an AFC U-19 Women's Championship qualifier between Bangladesh and India. Earlier the same year a match against Iran drew 15,000. Eleven years on, Bangladesh beat India in the final of the 2021 SAFF U-19 Women's Championship on this pitch. The women's national team has used the ground as a home since.

What it does the rest of the year is domestic and unglamorous. The Bangladesh Championship League and the Dhaka Senior Division Football League run their fixtures across the artificial turf, and Dhaka clubs including Bangladesh Army SC play here. The National Sports Council owns and runs it under the Ministry of Youth and Sports; there is no separate site for the venue itself.

It is not exclusively a football ground. In October 2022 the pitch was given over to the Dhamaka Concert, with Shironamhin and Avoid Rafa on the bill.
