Campo Chã das Padeiras

Chã das Padeiras belongs to the city, not just to União de Santarém. The municipality owns the ground, and it was the town hall's money, through the company Viver Santarém, that kept the place playable when Liga 3 tightened its rules on floodlighting. In 2023 the old lights came down and new LED towers went up, switched on in a formal ceremony that August, alongside 1,650 new seats across the stands and small repairs to the dressing rooms and goals — over €600,000 spent on the facility across that stretch, with the lighting work alone accounting for €343,000.

None of that changed what the ground actually is: a natural grass pitch holding a little over two thousand people and asking nothing more of itself. It has stood there since 1950, long before Liga 3 existed as a category, and its history is really the club's own — a modest, city-run home rather than a stage built for anyone passing through.
