Campo Municipal de Las Llanas

Las Llanas is the oldest football ground still in use in the Basque Country. The field was laid out in 1923 on land belonging to a private family; a first game against SD Kaiku that April was followed by a formal opening against Athletic Club on 9 September. Sestao's town council expropriated the land in 1956 and made the ground municipal property.

For most of the twentieth century it belonged to Sestao Sport Club, founded in 1916. The main stand went up in 1950, and by 1975 the south stand had been taken down and the main roof replaced. A Copa de la Liga win over Atlético Madrid in 1986 was followed the next summer by a promotion decider watched by more than 10,000 people, a goalless draw that sent Celta Vigo up to La Liga. That November, Las Llanas set its attendance record: 11,000 for a Copa del Rey tie against Real Madrid that finished the same way, 0-0.

Debt caught up with Sestao Sport in 1996; its last match here, a draw with Deportivo Alavés, closed the club down days later. Sestao River Club took over the ground as its successor and remains the main tenant, alongside SD San Pedro. A 2016 refit added a tunnel, a running track and new lighting, and the extra seating it brought to the north stand left the capacity at 4,367.
