CB Smith Reserve

Fawkner has one senior ground, and this is it — everything the suburb's football runs through funnels back to CB Smith Reserve on Jukes Road. The current tenants, Brunswick Juventus and Fawkner Soccer Club, both call it home, which keeps the calendar busy across the Victorian league season, and it has drawn a longer procession of sides through the door over the years: Pascoe Vale stayed a decade before moving on in 2025, and for a stretch between 2015 and 2023 it doubled as a women's top-flight venue, hosting Melbourne City's W-League side and later Melbourne Victory Women.

The ground's shape today owes most to work done over the 2014–15 off-season, when new club rooms went up alongside a covered stand holding 500, and the pitch itself was relaid. That upgrade set the capacity at roughly 2,000, where it still sits. A further round of work landed in 2024 under the Fawkner Community Hub project, but that ran to playgrounds and public space around the reserve rather than anything that changed the footprint of the stands.

What the ground has never quite settled is its own history of big crowds. Austadiums lists a peak of 2,648 "since 2003" without naming the fixture behind it, and the closest thing to a documented modern high — 1,034 for a Victory Women tie against Melbourne City in January 2021 — turns out not to count at all, since that match was shifted to Epping Stadium before kick-off.
