Central Stadium, Sagarejo
The pitch at Central Stadium in Sagarejo is artificial, which in a Kakhetian town of this size settles more than one question at once. That choice came with the rebuild rather than before it.
The ground had been standing long enough that its opening date is no longer part of the record kept about it. What is fixed is the reconstruction, finished in 2018 and marked with an official reopening on 23 May 2018. The name did not change with the work — it was Central Stadium before and Central Stadium after.
Capacity is 2,000, and that number describes the relationship between the club and the town more usefully than it describes the building. FC Gareji Sagarejo play here. In 2025 that meant top-flight football, the Erovnuli Liga, in a ground that holds two thousand people.
That season ended in relegation. Gareji drop to Erovnuli Liga 2 for 2026, so the fixtures the reconstruction was finished in time for are, for now, second-division fixtures. The ground itself is unchanged by the demotion; only the names on the visitors' team sheet are.
