Stadium
Centre sportif de Colovray
Nyon, Switzerland
Stade Nyonnais play in front of the water, with the UEFA headquarters standing just across the way — a stadium that shares its neighbourhood with the body that governs the sport played on it.
What Colovray offers instead is proximity — to the lake, to the UEFA campus, and to a club whose fortunes have stayed closely tied to the town itself. The stadium's character comes from where it stands rather than what has happened inside it.
