Centrum Edukacji Kultury Fizycznej i Sportu

CEKFiS is not a stadium in the conventional sense. It is a university sports and educational centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland, owned by Kazimierz Wielki University. The site sits at ul. Sportowa 2, where the first stage of the project was completed in April 2013. The centre includes a full-size sports hall with stands, a modern 25-metre swimming pool with six lanes, gymnastics rooms, tennis courts, a football field with artificial turf, and fitness rooms. The swimming pool within this complex was formerly known as Basen Polonia.

The view from the stands reveals a different layout from a traditional football ground. The football field, with its hybrid surface, is one part of a larger ecosystem of sport. The track around the pitch is a reminder of the site's origins and its continued versatility. It is a functional space, built for education and sport in equal measure.

What makes this place stand out is its dual purpose. It serves both the students of the university and the wider community, offering facilities that range from swimming to athletics.
