The ground has carried five names since 2006. It opened as Randers Stadion and kept that for forty-five years, then ran through Essex Park Randers, AutoC Park Randers and BioNutria Park Randers before settling on Cepheus Park Randers in 2019.

The rebuild got over the line in 2006. C. F. Møller Architects drew the 2005–2006 reconstruction, with A. Enggaard as main contractor. The North Stand came later and separately: Friis & Moltke redesigned it in 2012, so the ground reads as two projects six years apart rather than one continuous scheme. Capacity now stands at 10,300. The pitch is natural grass with undersoil heating and automatic irrigation.

The attendance figures point backwards. The all-time record is 17,200, set on 26 October 1958 for Denmark B against Sweden B. The post-2006 best is 11,824, on 16 May 2010 against Brøndby IF.

Football is not the only use. Randers HK share the site, and the stadium has taken concerts since Eric Clapton played there in 1981 — Cliff Richard in 1999, Status Quo in 2008, Alice Cooper in 2010, Brit Floyd in both 2012 and 2013.
