Chair Stadium
The ground that Radnički Niš play on today holds fewer than half the people it once did. When Čair opened in 1963 it was built for around 40,000.
The old stands were pulled down and replaced with new concrete structures on three sides — south, north and east — at a cost above 11m euros, or 1.1bn dinars.
The fourth side is the part of the story that has not moved. It has not been built.
In 2019 an automatic irrigation system was installed and the grass sub-base replaced; the pitch is hybrid turf.
Čair is not a standalone venue but part of the sports complex of the same name, which takes its title from the Niš district around it. The stadium keeps no separate website — what exists is carried on the club's pages and on those of the complex. The address is 9.
