Charles Abela Memorial Stadium
The ground carries the name of Charles Abela, the Mosta F.C. president who died before the rebuilt venue opened. Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi inaugurated the upgraded ground on 13 November 2010.
On 25 June 2022 it staged the Malta Enteractive Bowl, the first American football match played in the country, between Phoenix Malta and the Sofia Knights. The 3G surface took the gridiron markings without complaint.
Of the 700 places, 360 are seats and 340 are standing — a split that puts roughly half the crowd on its feet along the touchline, close enough to the artificial turf that the noise from the away end carries across the whole ground. That proximity showed in September 2010, before the formal reopening, when Tarxien Rainbows met Pietà Hotspurs and the ground took what was reported as its biggest crowd.
Cup football has kept coming back. The venue has hosted ties in the Maltese FA Trophy and the Malta Cup, including a 2024 meeting between Mosta FC and Valletta FC — a fixture that brings a first-division crowd to a ground built to hold 700.
