Chernihiv-Arena
Chernihiv-Arena does not announce itself.
What makes the venue distinct is its past. It was built on the site of a former city garden area, a piece of Chernihiv that was cleared for a different purpose. The structure was raised by the COLLAR Company, a manufacturer of pet supplies. Alongside the locker rooms and showers, there is a children’s gym and a sports shop.
The surface itself is artificial turf, laid down with a drainage system to handle the local weather. The stadium was hit by shells in March 2022 and again by rockets in July, destroying the box office and the fan shop. Specialists had to clear unexploded ordnance from the territory before any repairs could begin.
Despite the destruction, the venue reopened in April 2025 for a Ukrainian Second League game. The capacity is officially 500 spectators, a number that reflects the current reality more than the original design of 5,000. It serves as a home for FC Chernihiv and the youth teams of FC Desna Chernihiv.
