Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground

The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground is located in Marietta, Georgia. It opened in 2017 as the headquarters for Atlanta United and its USL Championship second team, Atlanta United II, following a $60 million initial investment. The club later secured a naming rights partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The site grew significantly in September 2025 with a $25 million expansion designed by Gensler and RJTR. This addition nearly doubled the building’s footprint to 50,000 square feet and introduced the Emory Healthcare Studio alongside classrooms for Academy players in partnership with the Atlanta International School. The facility features six pitches in total: four natural grass and two artificial FieldTurf surfaces. The main show pitch, capable of seating 2,500 spectators, has hosted Academy USSDA quarterfinal matches.

Atlanta United II has used the ground for league fixtures, including a fixture against New York Red Bulls II in 2024. The venue also hosts Academy College Showcases and supporter group events. Beyond local club activities, the site has a broader role. It was selected as the only official home base in Georgia for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, serving as the training and logistical headquarters for the Uzbekistan national team during the tournament.
