Ciudad Deportiva José Luis Compañón

City Deportiva José Luis Compañón is a training complex in the Zuazo district, built in 1982 on land owned by club president Juan Arregui. For two decades it carried the name Instalaciones de Ibaia before being renamed in 2002 to honour José Luis Compañón, a director who had died that January. The main stadium holds 2,500 spectators, but the complex itself is larger: three full-size natural grass pitches and one artificial turf surface.

The ground does not host the club’s senior side, which plays at Estadio de Mendizorrotza. Instead, it is home to the reserve teams—Alavés B, Alavés II, and Alavés III—and the women’s squad, Deportivo Alavés Gloriosas. The women’s team played a promotion playoff match against Cacereño here in May 2025, drawing a seasonal record of 710 spectators. The first team has occasionally used the venue for friendlies; a 0-0 draw against CA Osasuna in October 2020 is among the few notable matches listed.
