Formerly: Clos Mytton
Guilsfield is a village in mid-Powys. That is the starting point for everything else here: the pitch was laid out in the mid-1960s, when the village was expanding and the centre was built to serve it.
The older name, Clos Mytton , still turns up in fixture lists and on postal records.
In the early 1990s the main stand and the changing rooms were rebuilt, at a cost of £34,000.
Guilsfield FC play in Cymru North, the second tier, with the reserves using the same pitch. In May 2023 the club won the Central Wales Challenge Cup, beating Caersws 2–0.
