Complexo Desportivo de Tchumene
Matola, Mozambique
Complexo Desportivo de Tchumene sits in Matola, without running track or floodlights. It opened in 2019. The main pitch carries the nickname Lalgy Arena , named after the family behind Associação Black Bulls.
Black Bulls arrived in the top flight with ambition and have since matched it; they won the Moçambola in 2024. Before them, Brera Tchumene FC played there, but they withdrew before the 2025 season. CD Matchedje de Maputo also used the ground, though their tenure ended with relegation in 2023.
The capacity remains disputed. One set of records puts the figure at 1,500, while others suggest 8,000.
The ground does not try to impress. It simply provides a place for football to happen.
