The Constantin Jude Sports Hall is not a football stadium, but it is the only indoor arena of its scale in Timișoara, and that distinction gives it a kind of permanence. The original capacity was 2,200 seats; after a major rehabilitation in 2011 the number was reduced to 1,400 by mounting individual chairs. The rebuilding included a curtain wall facade with aluminium frames and thermal glass, modern air conditioning, and a reconstructed roof. The building itself dates to 1968 and was designed by the architect Sorin Gavra. It was formerly known as Olimpia Hall. The playing surface is a Romanian basketball parquet floor. What remains visible on the outside is the change in envelope rather than the structure beneath: the glass and aluminium cladding is crisp against the earlier concrete. Inside the change is more domestic. The 2011 work added wheelchair accessibility with a special lift and separate seating areas, updated sound and electrical systems, lighting, a strength training room, wireless internet, video surveillance, new restrooms, and modernized changing rooms. The venue hosts basketball, handball, volleyball, and futsal. The main tenants are BC Timișoara and CSU Politehnica Timișoara. The address is Aleea FC Ripensia nr. 7.

Timișoara has never had two indoor arenas of this size, and the 2011 rehabilitation was the closest thing the city has to a stadium renewal. The reduction in capacity was not a loss of prestige but a response to the individual seating that replaced the original benches. The curtain wall, the lift, the strength room—each is a detail that tells you the building lives in the present rather than the past.
