Stadium
De Oude Meerdijk
Formerly: Stadion Meerdijk, Univé Stadion, JENS Vesting
The ground on Stadionplein began life as an amateur club's home. VV Emmen opened it in August 1977 with a match against CVV Germanicus , and only later did the professional side arrive: FC Emmen moved in during 1985, a year before splitting away from the amateurs to turn professional.
The main stand that stands there now dates from the 2001 round of work, designed by H+H/AAS architecten .
Stadion Meerdijk until 2001, then Univé Stadion, then JENS Vesting from 2013, before the club dropped the sponsors in 2017 and settled on De Oude Meerdijk. The south stand carries a name of its own, the Jan van Beveren Stand , since 2015.
Artificial turf was laid in 2014 and lifted in May 2025, grass returning for the 2025/26 season.
