Domnarvsvallen
Domnarvsvallen carries the name people in Borlänge still use, even though the club's home has been called Borlänge Energi Arena since a sponsorship deal took effect at the start of 2021. The switch was tied to a three-year agreement with the local energy company.
The ground opened in 1925, the same year IK Brage was founded, and the two have shared the site ever since.
The record crowd dates back to 17 October 1965, when IK Brage hosted GAIS in a promotion play-off for a place in Allsvenskan. Reports put the figure at around 14,200.
Fifteen years later, Brage reached the final of the Swedish Cup, though the occasion itself was played away from home, at Råsunda in Solna rather than in front of their own crowd. Domnarvsvallen has otherwise made do with a smaller stage: cup rounds, youth tournaments, the kind of fixtures that keep a 6,500-capacity ground busy without ever testing its limits.
