Doosan Arena

The stadium sits inside Štruncovy sady, the municipal park along the river, and the site has carried a football ground since 1955, when it opened as the Stadion města Plzně for a regional Spartakiada rather than for Viktoria itself. The old bowl held 35,000, most of them standing, and the attendance record dates from that era: 35,000 for a 1–7 defeat to Dukla Prague in September 1961, a scoreline the terraces presumably remember for the wrong reasons. The 2002 floods forced the removal of the wooden benches and cut capacity to a little over 7,000, leaving a stadium built for tens of thousands running at a fifth of its old size for the best part of a decade.

The rebuild that followed, between 2011 and 2016 and costed at roughly 508 million koruna, changed the ground rather than just patched it: the pitch moved 18 metres, the athletics track went, and the open bowl became an enclosed stadium, with the north and south towers added in the final phase to bring capacity to its current 11,700. A hybrid pitch, natural grass reinforced with synthetic fibre, replaced the turf ahead of the 2025 season.

Scale aside, the ground's standing in Czech football rests on 2013/14, when it became the first stadium outside Prague to host Champions League group-stage football. It has since taken three Czech Cup finals, in 2012, 2021 and 2024, three Czech Super Cups, and ten national team fixtures spanning World Cup and European Championship qualifiers from the 2014 cycle through to 2026.
