Dusheti Central Stadium
Aragvi Dusheti was founded in 1954 and played on this pitch through the Soviet years, but no source fixes the year the stadium was laid out, and none records an earlier name for it. It has always simply been the Central Stadium.
What the ground has instead is an address — 46 Platon Ioseliani Street, in a town in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region — and a natural grass surface that has become, in a roundabout way, the defining fact about it.
That last name causes confusion worth clearing up. Sartichala Central Stadium is a separate ground with an artificial surface; it has become associated with Aragvi through use, not through ownership, and it is not this place.
The capacity here is 2,000. The Dusheti municipal budget for 2026 sets aside work on rehabilitating the stadium.
