The name is functional rather than romantic — Dzharr sits inside a wider sports and leisure complex of the same name in Tashkent's Shaykhantahur district, and the ground itself carries a matching Uzbek label, JAR stadioni, on the site's own signage.
It went up over a single year, 1997 to 1998, and opened on 6 June 1998 . A rebuild followed in 2005, though the scale of that work has not been detailed anywhere reliable enough to describe here.
The address on Beruni Avenue places it in the Chorsu neighbourhood.
