Ground was broken on 24 March 2024, and the last work was signed off on 28 June 2025 — 461 days from bare site to finished stadium.

Salvatore Curaba , owner and president of RAAL La Louvière, funded the build himself, at a cost put between 16.8 and 18 million euros. 155 firms worked on the project, 98% of them Belgian, and 85% drawn from the province of Hainaut alone. Groupe Wanty acted as main contractor, with the design by the Carré 7 practice under Cyril Rousseau .

Because it is new, there is no earlier name to trace. RAAL previously played next door at the Stade du Tivoli, which kept its own name and did not transfer it here; the move was a change of address, not a rebranding.
