Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima
Formerly: Hiroshima Soccer Stadium
The ground stands at Motomachi, inside the Hiroshima Stadium Park complex, and the name it carries — Peace Wing .
Construction ran to roughly ¥27.1 billion, with the whole project reaching ¥28.6 billion once national subsidies, the prefecture and the city, and private money were counted in — ¥3 billion of it from EDION, ¥2 billion from Mazda. A consortium led by Taisei Corporation did the work. The doors opened on 1 February 2024; a friendly followed on the 10th.
The competitive opening came on 23 February 2024, Sanfrecce against Urawa Reds .
Inside, the building keeps more than a pitch. There is the Hiroshima Soccer Museum, and a mural called the Peace Wall, painted by Yoichi Takahashi, who created Captain Tsubasa .
