Eikbanen
Tønsberg, Norway
Formerly: Eikbanen
It began as a club field bought from a farmer in the early 1930s, then became part of a larger municipal stadium opened in 1937 at a different address. For decades, the senior team played at that municipal site until 2001, when FK Tønsberg was formed. Eik-Tønsberg continued to use the facilities until merging with FK Tønsberg in 2020 to form FK Eik Tønsberg 871. The venue underwent a significant renovation and reopened on May 16, 2003, which introduced modern seating and restricted capacity for safety compliance. The current official capacity is 5,600 spectators, with 3,820 seats.
Before that 2003 change, the place held more people, and the all-time attendance record was set on August 21, 1958, when 16,000 spectators watched Eik-Tønsberg play Fredrikstad FK in the Norwegian Football Cup. Another notable high-attendance match occurred on August 24, 1989, during a Norwegian Cup quarter-final replay where Eik-Tønsberg defeated Lillestrøm 3–1 in extra time, drawing 7,423 fans. The stadium has hosted significant matches, including Eik-Tønsberg's 1959–60 bronze medal playoff victory over Vålerenga (4–2) and their 1960–61 gold medal playoff loss to Fredrikstad. Notable players associated with the club at this ground include Arne Natland, Arne Høivik, Tore Halvorsen, and Erik Thorstvedt.
The playing surface is artificial turf (synthetic grass). A smaller training pitch on the grounds is named Strandman Arena. The address is Jutulveien 13, 3122 Tønsberg, Norway. The club currently competes in the 2. divisjon (Norwegian Second Division).
