The ground sits between the main road and the park, where the city has kept a ring of trees around the concrete. It is a stadium built for running, not skating, and that remains its character. The track is red and closed around the pitch, while the stands follow the curve with a covered section running along one side.

A concert takes place on the surface now, with the field full of people in white and a stage built at one end. The same ground has held football since the early years, when the Huskies used it before moving to an ice rink. That shift happened later, and the original structure stayed in the same spot, changed only by the surface and the seating.

What makes this place different is the tightness of the space. The stand is closer to the touchline than most modern grounds, and the crowd sits low, looking across the track rather than down from a distance. A banner reads “SCENA CHASSALLA” along the barrier, close enough to read from the pitch. The section is mostly empty, with a few supporters standing near the goal.

The building to the north holds an indoor ice rink, but the stadium itself is outside, open to the elements. Rain or sun, the track does not close, and the stands do not cover the whole field. That limits comfort, but it also keeps the shape simple and unaltered.

The address is Am Auestadion 1, and the location sits in the part of the city where the park meets the residential blocks. There is no grand entrance or wide plaza, just a gate that opens onto the pavement. The capacity is small by comparison with the larger arenas in Germany, and the atmosphere depends on the game, not the architecture.
