Elazığ Stadyumu

Elazığ Stadyumu sits between Atatürk Boulevard and the Zübeyde Hanım Avenue. It replaced the old Atatürk Stadyumu in 2019. The new ground opened in 2023, but the name on the official sign does not carry the Atatürk title. That change drew a lot of talk in the city.

It is a relatively new build compared to the ones that have stood in Turkey for half a century. The stadium is home to Elazığspor and 23 Elazığ FK, who play their matches here. The highest crowd recorded in the new stadium was just over 16,000 for a play-off match in 2024.

The location is central, near the Kültürpark, so it is easy to find if you are already in the Merkez district.
