The Esenyurt Necmi Kadıoğlu Stadium sits in the sprawl of Istanbul’s Esenyurt district. It does not try to be a monument.

**What is distinct** about the venue is the way it handles the city around it. The pitch is natural grass, and the dimensions are slightly narrower than a standard international pitch, which tightens the play. It is a small arena, holding just 4,500 people, which means the game is not played at a distance.

The stadium opened in 2012, but it only became a proper home when the club signed a ten-year lease in 2017. Before that, it was a municipal project, a gift from the local mayor, Necmi Kadıoğlu, who served until 2017. The renovations that followed were not cosmetic.

It is not a place built for record crowds or final matches. But the day-to-day reality is defined by its location.
