Estadio 20 de Octubre

The name on the ground is not a footballing one. 20 de Octubre is the day of Ezeiza, the partido that Tristán Suárez belongs to, once the main stands were in place.

What stands there now was assembled in instalments across seven decades. The first structures went up in 1931 and were dressing rooms, nothing more. The pitch itself was laid and formally opened on 24 May 1964, when the ground was signed off for Argentine Football Association fixtures. The first concrete terrace followed in 1979. The rest — including the stand along Moreno — arrived only in 2001–02, and with it the current name. Each stage came when the club could fund it, which is why the four sides do not match in age or in build.

The most recent change of consequence was the lighting: floodlights were installed in 2019, and the first match played under them, on 20 November that year, was against Independiente.

In October 2022 the pitch was given over to the Copa Ezeiza , an under-17 tournament that brought Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador and Peru to the district whose date the stadium carries.
