Estadio Abel Sastre
What sets the ground at the corner of Avenida Juan 23 Norte and Avenida Kenneth Woodley apart in Puerto Madryn is its location. When Deportivo Madryn opened the place on 19 November 2006, it held around 10,000. The capacity now stands at 25,000.
The opening match set an early marker. Deportivo Madryn beat Alianza de Cutral Co 6–0. It is known locally as El Coliseo del Golfo.
Work started again in 2024. The floodlights were replaced so the ground could stage night fixtures at national level. New stands are going up to close the bowl. On completion the capacity is expected to reach 28,000 to 30,000.
The pitch is natural grass. The stadium keeps no site of its own; what there is to know sits on the club's pages at www.clubmadryn.com.ar. No attendance record is on the books, and nothing outside football — no concerts, no cup finals — has been staged there in any account that survives.
