Stadium
Estadio Akron / Estadio Jalisco / Ciudad Deportiva
Zapopan, Mexico
Formerly: Estadio Omnilife, Estadio Chivas
It opened on 30 July 2010. That December the ground staged the final of the Copa Libertadores. Ten months later it took the football of the Pan American Games, and in the same year the FIFA Under-17 World Cup passed through. The Concachampions final of 2018 followed.
The name has moved more than once.
The pitch changed in 2025. Natural grass came out and a hybrid surface went in, part of the work done ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Between the football dates, the ground has taken concerts: Guns N' Roses in 2022, The Weeknd in 2023, Shakira in 2025.
