Estádio Alberto Oliveira Sobrinho

The stadium sits in Pacatuba, a town in the state of Ceará. Estádio Alberto Oliveira Sobrinho is not a destination for tourists, which means the structure has settled into a rhythm that suits the local pace. The stands are simple concrete tiers, and the yellow stairs that guide supporters up and down are the most distinct feature, breaking the monotony of the seating blocks.

Inside, the atmosphere is shaped by the proximity of the fans to the pitch. There are no luxury boxes and no distant upper tiers to dilute the noise. The supporters sit close enough to be heard over the game itself. A large green and white banner hangs from the railing, bearing the date 1884, which anchors the club’s identity in a time before the stadium likely existed. Another sign reads 'DIRECTIVO', marking the area where the officials manage the match. The stands are not full, but the few people present are focused on the action below, not on the view from above.

The exterior, visible from the road, shows a modern touch with its green and yellow cladding and the tall yellow mast that holds the floodlights. This mast is the only high point in the landscape, a stark vertical line against the blue sky. The address is Av. Capitão Manoel Medeiros 954, a quiet street where the stadium is the main event. The surface is natural grass, worn in patches where the ball is kicked most often. The capacity is debated, with some sources claiming a thousand seats and others three thousand, but the truth is likely somewhere in between, dictated by how many people can squeeze into the concrete benches when the local team plays.
