Estadio Armando Dely Valdés

The Estadio Armando Dely Valdés is a stadium. The work was part of a wider project that finished in July 2026. The old stands were dismantled and the seating reduced to 1,500 butacas, a significant fall from the capacity listed in older records. The numbers are not a matter of argument; the new configuration is in place and the seats are arranged in neat rows.

For many years the stadium was home to C.D. Árabe Unido, who play in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol (LPF). Before them came the defunct Colón River F.C., a team that operated between 1994 and 2005. The ground has hosted matches in the CONCACAF Champions League and during the 2003 Gold Cup, fixtures that brought larger crowds than usual to the city. The recent reopening saw a 2–2 draw between Árabe Unido and CD Plaza Amador in the 2026 Apertura tournament. The stadium fell silent after the final whistle, a quiet end to a game played on a surface that will not wear out.
