Estadio Balaidos
Vigo, Spain
Formerly: Stadium de Balaídos, Estadio Municipal de Balaídos
The silver skin of Estadio Abanca Balaídos curves over the city of Vigo, catching the light differently depending on the angle. Down by the entrances, the official RC Celta shop sits beneath the dark overhang, its windows displaying the players who carry the name through the La Liga season.
Inside, the pitch is a hybrid surface, renewed in October 2024 with turf sewn in place to withstand the wear of the calendar. The stands are currently in flux, with the Gol Stand being demolished and rebuilt, a process that has temporarily reduced the number of seats available. The club's second team plays out of this space alongside the first, on a ground that has lived through a World Cup and a windstorm that once damaged the structure.
The capacity sits at 24,870, though the number will shift as the renovation closes in on completion.
