Estádio Capela Nova

Betim has one club playing at senior level, Industrial Atlético Clube, and the Estádio Capela Nova is its ground — known locally as Capelão.

The club's own history is thin on paper. Academic work out of UFMG points to a side already active under the Industrial name in the late 1950s, though nothing pins down a founding date or an opening year for the ground itself. What the record does show is a stadium built for use rather than spectacle: 4,000 capacity, floodlights for evening fixtures, and three separate training pitches around the main field.

Fixtures here run across age groups and divisions rather than one fixed calendar. The Taça BH de Futebol Júnior has brought youth sides from Fluminense and Athletico Paranaense for junior ties, while the senior game leans toward Série D, with clubs such as AMDH and Funorte among the visitors.

Address aside — Rua Arthur Trindade, in the bairro of Angola — little else about the build has surfaced: no confirmed year of construction, no record of a record crowd, no note of the pitch surface.
