Estádio Cidade de Barcelos

The ground belongs to the town, not the club. Barcelos built it as part of a municipal sports complex, and that ownership shows in how the place has been used — a home for **Жил Висенте**.

It opened on 30 May 2004 with a friendly that was not the one advertised. **Сантос** had been lined up, then withdrew because of Copa Libertadores commitments, so Уругвайский **Насьональ** from Монтевидео came instead and won 2:1. Five weeks later, on 2 July, the council staged a Хулио Иглесиас concert billed as the stadium's second opening. Too few tickets sold, and it lost money.

The busiest night came that autumn. On 31 October 2004, **Бенфика** visited for a league match that finished 1:1, and 12,500 went through the turnstiles — a figure that still stands as the record.

International football arrived the following March. Португалия beat Канада 4:1 there on 26 March 2005, the senior side's only appearance at the stadium.

On 12 April 2024, during a first-division match against **Спортинг**, fire broke out in the east stand. Volunteer firefighters had it out inside five minutes. Spectators were moved out, then brought back, and the game resumed and ended 4:0 to the visitors.

No sponsor has ever bought the name.
