Estadio Ciudad de Vicente López sits on Calle Juan Zufriategui in the Florida neighbourhood. Club Atlético Platense spent decades shifting grounds before settling here: a first pitch on Calle Posadas from 1907, then a spell at Manuela Pedraza and Blandengues, then a stadium in Núñez the club used until 1971. The current ground, opened in 1979, closed that chapter.

The design is credited to the architect Osvaldo Haedo, who, by the club's own account, pushed hard to see the project through to completion. The pitch is natural grass, without undersoil heating.

Nothing here has ever changed its name. Locals sometimes call it simply Estadio de Vicente López or Estadio de Platense, but neither has ever been official — Estadio Ciudad de Vicente López is what it was called on opening day in 1979, and what it is called now.
