Estadio Club Sol de América
Formosa, Argentina
Formerly: Estadio de la Liga Formoseña (used by club before 2015)
Sol de América's ground in Formosa carries no old scars and no borrowed history: the club opened it in October 2015, and everything about the place still reads as new build rather than inheritance. The pitch on Ruta Nacional 11 is natural grass, laid out for a squad that spent its early years there working toward something rather than defending a reputation.
That patience paid off across the 2022/23 season, when Sol de América went through the regional stage of the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur, saw off Guaraní Antonio Franco on penalties, then beat General San Martín in the final phase to earn promotion into the Torneo Federal A. The team carried that form forward into 2024, reaching the Torneo Federal A play-offs against Santamarina of Tandil.
It is not a stadium built for scale; it is a stadium built for a club moving up a division, and its short history so far has matched that ambition step for step.
