In Iraty, this is the only ground worth naming, and everything about it sits close to the town's own scale. Estádio Coronel Emílio Gomes holds Iraty Sport Club, and for years it also answered to another name altogether — Estádio Municipal Abraham Najib Nejm, a tribute to a former municipal councillor, Rony Surek, and to a local benefactor, Abraham Najib Nejm, whose name outlived the switch back to the current one on most references today.

It opened in 1950, some records point to 21 April specifically, which puts it among the older grounds still in use in the interior of Paraná. Eight thousand people fit inside, modest by any national measure, but proportionate to a club whose reach has rarely extended past regional competition. The pitch is natural grass, kept to the standard a ground like this needs and no more.

It stands on Avenida Dr. Vicente Machado, in the middle of town rather than off on some purpose-built edge, the kind of address that puts the ground within a short walk for most of Iraty rather than a drive.
