The club pulled down the old Tribuna Principal and shifted home matches to Mendizorrotza, in Vitoria, while a new main stand goes up in its place — VIP boxes, modern dressing rooms, a press room, a budget near 6.6 million euros with the town hall covering more than 2 million of it.

The ground sits in the district that gave it its name, on the bank of the Ebro, and has never carried another title in its history. A second training pitch was added in 2016, along with new floodlight towers and a full resurfacing. Before any of that, in 2012, a temporary stand went up for a Copa del Rey semi-final against Athletic Bilbao and pushed capacity briefly past 7,000.

Anduva last filled out completely on 4 March 2020, for a Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Sociedad — 5,700 inside, Real Sociedad won 1-0. The stadium's only international fixture came years earlier, in February 2006, when Spain's under-21s lost 0-1 to Poland here. Not every visit has passed quietly: a 2023 Segunda División match against Burgos CF ended with objects thrown from the away end, and police later identified seven fans responsible.
