Estadio del Complejo de La Unión
Pujilí, Ecuador
Pujilí's ground is a club facility more than a municipal one: the pitch sits inside the Complejo Deportivo La Unión, in the barrio of Jesús del Gran Poder, and belongs outright to Club Deportivo La Unión rather than to the town. That ownership shows in how the place is used — the complex holds three fields in total, two of natural grass and one artificial, with the synthetic surface kept for training and matches reserved for the grass pitches, the main one included.
Work on the site picked up in March 2019, when the club pushed into an active phase of building out the complex's infrastructure, laying turf on the principal fields as part of that push. No date for a formal opening has surfaced, and the club's own founding year is likewise unrecorded, which leaves the ground's early history largely untold.
What is documented is competitive use: La Unión have hosted Copa Ecuador fixtures here, among them a meeting with Deportivo Cuenca.
