Morrinhos keeps a stadium built for a game that stuck to the calendar anyway: 8 July 1956, América de Morrinhos and Uberaba playing out a 2-2 draw on what was then a new pitch on Rua Dr. Pedro Nunes. Some accounts push the date to 1959, but that year marks América's return to the state's top flight, not the ground's opening — a distinction worth keeping straight.

What holds steady here is the number 5,040. No expansion, no rebuild recorded, no change in capacity across nearly seventy years — a small municipal ground that has simply stayed the size it started at. The turf is natural grass.

Crowds tend to run well under capacity. The clearest recent numbers come from the 2022 Campeonato Goiano quarter-final against Atlético-GO, which drew 3,108 through the gates. A repeat fixture in 2024 brought around 1,864. At the other end, a league match against Anápolis pulled in just 264. Morrinhos itself has never hosted a Goianão final; those stay in Goiânia, though the club has used the ground for its own playoff nights.

The stadium has had other uses too — the singer Hungria played a show there in August 2020.
