Etho Vega is a ground defined by a name that outgrew its origin. It opened in 1980 as the Estadio Olímpico Tsáchila, and only later took on the Etho Vega Baquero name it now carries.

It sits at the crossing of Avenida Quitumbes and Los Anturios. Club Deportivo ESPOLI lists it as home ground, but on 16 November 2024 it hosted the Copa Zapping final, where Barcelona SC put six past El Nacional in front of roughly 10,000 people. A month later, the Ecuadorian federation picked the same pitch as neutral territory for the Segunda Categoría finals, men's and women's both.

Domestically, it is Deportivo Santo Domingo that has given the stadium its local stakes, grinding past Orense 3-1 in the Copa Ecuador before falling 3-2 to Guayaquil City in the round that followed.
